In fact studies show that people who have stopped smoking have more confidence in themselves. Nicotine is an addicting substance that affects the brain and the body. It alters your state of mind and makes you look for it.

Of course, the help of family and friends are essential. However, the help of someone who knows what is happening to you and how it feels like to turn your back on something that has been a part of your system might prove beneficial.
